Wish Lists

I've been recently asked a bunch about what we want for Christmas and I'm horrible at remembering things on the spot so I've made some wish lists. They should give those who are asking an idea of what we are interested in.

Love you all!

PS
If you get anything off a wishlist just tell the other spouse and they will remove it.

Nathaniel loves to dance and....
he loves Taylor Swift!
His favorite combination is to dance to Taylor Swift.
and his favorite Taylor Swift song.... Shake It Off!
Shaking is even his favorite dance move.
Here he is shaking to Shake It Off!

SNOW!

We started getting snow Thursday night. This is Nathaniel's first time seeing snow that he remembers (less then a month old doesn't count). And definitely his first time reacting. Here he is Thursday evening going out with dad to be in the snow for a minute. It was snowing pretty lightly but you could see it in the light.

It was very hard to get a non-blurry picture of them because he kept moving to try and catch the snow.

Last night, Friday evening, we got all dressed up to actually play in the snow. Daddy had gone out to shovel so we went to surprise him. Nathaniel refused to wear his gloves. He kept taking them off. We are definitely going to have to figure out a system for keeping them on.

Look! He's standing!

And then he just squated for a minute trying to get the snow without sitting. He really didn't like sitting in the snow which was where I put him at first.

And then he fell over, face first, into the snow.

It was time to go in after that.

Monster Game

J and N were playing like this for about 15 minutes this morning. Which is a LONG time for them.

Ward Smelt

Our Ward (church congregation) did a smelted iron this weekend. It took about 6 hours so it was all day fun. We had a BBQ and it was delicious. Chris and I both helped build the kiln (kneaded the mud and added straw) and then Chris helped with the rest of the making iron. Nathaniel made friends with the Bishops dogs.

9 months!

9 months brings:
Preferring Daddy to Mommy
Walking as he pushes his lion
Trying popcorn, steak, beans and cheese
Refusing to eat all fruit now ( today was the first day in 5 days he would eat his fruit, it was prunes)
A lullaby that actually puts him to sleep. If Dad is holding him and he hears "Oh, My Father" he is out.
Hating his car seat so much I have trouble getting him in. He is strong!
Learning how to throw a tantrum
Getting a toddler mattress for his pack n' play because he prefers mattresses
Lots of Laughing
Becoming ticklish
Drinking out of a regular cup by himself
Giving up baby bottles for a water bottle
Loving to read books
Lots of clapping
Loving swings and slides
Figuring out that swords are made for poking people ( not sure i wanted him to learn that one.)
Now anything that is long is a sword
Experimenting with echoes
Loving to talk on Google plus and facetime

It is incredibly hard to get Nathaniel to stay laying down now.  He just rolls right over and starts playing with the elephant or crawling away.

Catching up

Nathaniel was very tired and just staring at space.

Baby with a Jinbei.

Dressed up for the cold

Nathaniel really wants peanut butter

He was driven crazy by no peanut butter

He loves to walk with his lion.

J and I made a pirate for halloween.

The Dread Pirate Roberts likes to hang at the park and push Inigo Montoya in the swings.

Jake from the Neverland Pirates, Inigo Montoya and Tinkerbell.

N and Daddy watching a Halloween movie.
This was N's first taste of popcorn. He LOVED it! He did well with it, until he realized he could put more than one piece in his mouth at a time. He could do that but he couldn't eat more than one piece at a time. We ended up taking it away because he wouldn't slow down and he wouldn't let me feed it to him one at a time.
