Nathaniel's B-day Party

We had Nathaniel's birthday party this week. It was dog themed and I made him a dog cupcake cake. I made it so I would like it, so it was a carrot cake with an almond buttercream frosting. I loved it. Nathaniel wouldn't eat it. He just crushed it into the ground. (Pictures of the cake "eating" to come, they are on Chris' phone)

We also had party food that was dog themed. Hot dogs, chili and hummus (because they look like puppy chow) and then veggies to dip in the hummus. : )

Nathaniel found out he loves balloons. He and Dad having fun before the party.

We made him a "Dog house". He kept going in and out and laughing. He loved the dog house. And so did all the kids at the party. It ended up being too small because all the kids wanted to be in at once.

Opening presents was fun. I put the presents on the ground and Nathaniel automatically grabbed one of the bags, pulled all the paper out and dumped the bag.

Johnathan knows what kids like. Nathaniel didn't want to open any other presents. So Johnathan opened most of the other presents.

But Nathaniel got back in the game for the last one because it was another bag.

Nathaniel didn't open the bubbles but he sure enjoyed playing with them.
